The National Street Food Vendors Association (NSFVA) is proud to announce EasyEats as its official point-of-sale (POS) partner for food trucks and mobile vendors nationwide. EasyEats is a modern POS platform built specifically to meet the unique needs of food trucks. It seamlessly combines in-person sales with online ordering and ties everything into a real-time Kitchen Display System (KDS) in the truck, so that all orders – whether walk-up or online – appear in one easy-to-manage queue. Customers even receive text message notifications when their order is ready, ensuring a smoother experience for both vendors and patrons.
EasyEats POS offers a tablet-friendly interface optimized for food truck operations, with all orders feeding into a real-time kitchen display. EasyEats runs on familiar devices like tablets, making it easy to take orders and manage the kitchen without bulky equipment. The interface is designed for quick service and clarity, so food truck teams can fulfill orders efficiently even during a rush.

NSFVA leadership believes this partnership will greatly benefit its members. “This partnership exemplifies our commitment to providing food vendors with the best tools to thrive. We are excited to welcome EasyEats as our official POS partner. EasyEats offers an innovative, all-in-one POS solution that’s built by people who truly understand food trucks. Our members will be able to streamline their order management, serve customers faster, and gain insights to grow their businesses,” said Bill Moore, NSFVA President & Executive Director.
EasyEats’ team is equally enthusiastic about joining forces with the NSFVA. “We built EasyEats from the ground up for food truck owners, so partnering with NSFVA is a natural fit. Food trucks have unique operational challenges, and EasyEats is designed to tackle those. From taking orders on the go to tracking what’s selling out, our goal is to help vendors run smoother and more profitably. We’re honored to work with the NSFVA to support food trucks across the country,” said Warren Nash, Co-Founder and CEO of EasyEats.
Key EasyEats POS Features for Food Trucks:

  • Unified Order Management: EasyEats consolidates walk-up, online, and advance orders into one system, simplifying service during busy rushes.
  • Real-Time Kitchen Display System (KDS): Orders are sent instantly to a touchscreen KDS in the truck, so the kitchen crew can see all order tickets in real time and never miss a beat.
  • Customer Notifications: Built-in text messaging alerts customers when their food is ready for pickup, reducing wait times at the truck and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Tracking: The system monitors inventory levels and can automatically mark items as “sold out” on the online menu when supplies run low, helping avoid overselling.
  • Mobile-Friendly Interface: EasyEats runs on tablets and smartphones with an intuitive app, making it perfect for the limited space of a food truck and for vendors who are always on the move.
By leveraging these features, food truck operators can save time, reduce errors, and focus on cooking great food while EasyEats handles the rest. The partnership with EasyEats aligns with NSFVA’s mission to empower street food entrepreneurs. With EasyEats as the official POS partner, NSFVA members will have access to technology that simplifies daily operations and provides valuable data insights into sales and customer preferences.
Both organizations are confident that this collaboration will help mobile food vendors run smoother and grow their businesses. The NSFVA and EasyEats will be rolling out informational sessions and resources in the coming weeks to help members get started. For more information about the EasyEats POS system, NSFVA members can visit the NSFVA website or EasyEats.com to learn more about how this platform can transform their food truck operations.
