Meet Todd and Robin Honea, the dynamic duo behind the All-American Food Company, a food truck deeply rooted in community and exceptional flavor. After retiring from a distinguished career in the military, Todd discovered his true passion—bringing delicious American comfort food to his hometown.
Todd’s "why" is deeply personal: "Although I enjoyed my career in the military and law enforcement, my passion is really interacting with people. I enjoy good food, and it brings me great pleasure to serve people what I love," he explains. Inspired by his post-retirement culinary adventures and the joy of connecting with others, Todd and Robin transformed their enthusiasm into a thriving business.

The All-American Food Company specializes in classic American comfort foods, quickly becoming famous for their smash burgers and fresh, hand-cut fries, described by Todd as "incredibly popular." Fried in premium beef tallow, their fries pair perfectly with their burgers, which are elevated by a special sauce. Todd shares, "Our secret sauce for our burgers takes the smash burger to another level."

Committed to quality, Todd emphasizes their choice of local ingredients: "Our beef is never frozen, and we fry in beef tallow," he says, highlighting their commitment to freshness and supporting the local economy.
For Todd, the best part of running their food truck is "the community interaction." He particularly loves serving his hometown crowd, appreciating the significant local support they've received. Todd fondly recalls frequent visits from his pastor: "My pastor visits about three times every time we set up. It means a lot to have his support and the support of our church community."

Reflecting on lessons learned, Todd notes, "People will wait for good food. Don't rush the process." For aspiring food truck owners, his advice is straightforward: "DO IT! All kidding aside, if you're committed and passionate, then dive in."
Looking forward, Todd and Robin have exciting plans, including "introducing an irresistible smash patty melt," and aim to "create a personal commissary within the next five years."
